President Donald Trump has earned the most corruption convictions of any president in American history, a new report has found.
The study by watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) said that Trump was found guilty of racketeering, bribery, and obstruction of justice more than any other president in the country.
Trump was also found guilty in three separate investigations into the president’s business empire.
The report found that the president has been charged with several violations of the U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, a treaty that bans sexual violence, and several violations related to the Trump University scam, which resulted in thousands of people losing their money.
In one of the cases, Trump was charged with “obstruction of justice” for trying to cover up a $34,000 loss from the Trump National Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In another case, Trump allegedly failed to pay more than $150,000 to settle claims from his former employee, former business partner and then-campaign chairman Corey Lewandowski, who claimed he was fired for speaking out against Trump’s business practices.
According to the report, the president also failed to adequately protect the Trump Organization from the charges of fraud, misappropriation of funds, and falsifying records.
In addition, the report found the president committed perjury in an ongoing probe into the extent of his business dealings.
CREW said that the administration failed to take any steps to protect its assets from being sold off to other private individuals and businesses.
Trump’s team responded to the findings by pointing to the president having received more than 400 pardons from the Justice Department.
CREVW also said the administration has given pardons to a number of other presidents.
